Streets Whittles was proud to be the Lead Sponsor of the London Welsh Male Voice Choir Charity Concert which took place at the Mercury Theatre in Colchester on Saturday 5th April in aid of Lizzie’s Fund. See website news from the 13th March.

The concert was a huge success and as a result of the sponsorship support, advertisers and charity donors, over £50,000 was raised on the night towards Lizzie’s Fund for The Brain Tumour Charity.

After the interval a film about Lizzie and her fundraising was played. This sensitive and powerful production was designed to remind the audience why the concert was taking place and provided a clear insight into Lizzie’s bravery and the importance of investing in primary research into childhood brain tumours. You can access the film here.

We join with the organisers in thanking all those who supported the event and recognise how important it is to keep raising awareness of the charity and its commitment to making a positive change to the prognosis for children diagnosed with this dreadful disease. Although the fundraising event is now over, it is not too late to donate to the charity; you can do so here.
