We are delighted to once again sponsor ‘Essex County’s Premier Agricultural Event’ , which is organised by Tendring Hundred Farmers’ Club.  Established in 1899, this year it will be the 106th Tendring Show and the chosen theme is ‘Creativity in the Countryside’.

Taking place as usual on the showground at Lawford House Park, near Manningtree, this year’s show is on Saturday 8th July. The annual event which hit pause for two years because of the pandemic is back again this year with the full programme of  animals of all shapes and sizes, entertainment, trade stands, Shoppers Market, Art & Lifestyle Marquee, Food Pavilion, Education and Countryside areas.

Streets Whittles partner Rachel Skells explains why she and her partners see their support as “Silver Sponsors” as so important:

“The firm has been long-standing supporters of the Tendring Show and over the years many of its partners have enjoyed Vice-President membership of Tendring Hundred Farmers’ Club. Show visitors may remember our many years’ sponsorship of the Poultry Show or the Whittles Art Show party in 2014. However, since 2016 we have been putting our name on the car hangers as our sponsorship funds the advance car parking tickets. Whether it is chickens, art or car parks, we are proud to support our local agricultural community and look forward to celebrating how very privileged we all are to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country.”

Fellow Partner Dan Insley who will also be attending the Show agrees:
“With many of our clients being farmers or related agribusinesses, it is important for those of us who act as their advisers to understand the challenges the sector faces and the opportunities available for diversification and progress.  What could be a more enjoyable way of learning more about these issues then spending a day at the Tendring Show.”

Gates open to the general public on Saturday 8th July at 8.00am and closes at 6.00pm. Tickets can be bought online via the Show’s website. Streets Whittles is one of over 40 organisations acting as sponsors.
