Streets Whittles sponsors Business of the Year award in the Colchester Business Awards 2023

We are pleased to support the city’s business awards in this very significant year for Colchester.

The awards are part of a year of celebrations to mark Colchester becoming the 76th city in the UK and the third in Essex, alongside Chelmsford and Southend.

Rachel Skells explains why she and her partners decided to become sponsors of this key celebratory event:

“Colchester officially became a city in November 2022, less than a month after Whittles went through a significant change in status by merging with Streets Chartered Accountants, a mid-tier multi regional practice. The awards allowed Streets Whittles to underline its continued commitment to our local community and gave us the timely opportunity to celebrate all that is great about our very individual city with our fellow Colchester businesses.”

Streets Whittles is sponsoring the Business of the Year Award which will be chosen from the shortlisted businesses in each award category. It will be the best of the best, the business which stands out from the rest. To win, a business will need to show a very strong overall performance during the last year.
