Firm News

Once again this year, the team at Streets Whittles is pleased to turn out to assist Santa and his sleigh in collecting for local charitable causes and handing out treats to the good people of Colchester. We are sponsors of the Riverside leg taking place, 6pm-8pm  on Wednesday 7th December. Click here for full route. The benefiting charity that evening will be Next Chapter, (formerly known as Colchester & Tendring Women’s Refuge), a domestic abuse charity working across the areas of Tendring, Colchester, Maldon, Chelmsford, Braintree & Uttlesford.

This annual festive event has been organised by Colchester Round Table 367 for over forty years. Other charities benefiting this year are: Colchester Korban Page; Open Road, Colchester; Beacon House; St Helena; The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation; Colchester Community Group (UK); Colchester Foodbank and The Rob George Foundation

Streets Whittles partner Dan Insley is a member of the Colchester Round Table 367 and he is delighted to play a major role (no spoilers) in the fundraising spectacle:
“Community is important to Streets Whittles. We recognise the value of supporting the people and the causes of the neighbourhood in which we live and work. Christmas is such a joyous time for most of us but not for all. We are happy to man the sleigh on the 7th December and raise some much-needed funds to help with the continued good work of our nominated charity, Next Chapter”

If you are unable to join us on the 7th December but would like to donate to Next Chapter, you can do so vis the charity’s website here.
